NextMark Enables Video Marketing For Mailing ListsVideos add exciting new dimension to the staid data card Hanover, NH - March 31, 2009 - NextMark, Inc. a leading provider of direct marketing tools and resources, today announced the addition of videos to its data cards. The goal of this new service is to enable list managers to provide more in-depth information about mailing lists and to help list buyers make better purchasing decisions. Data cards provide information about mailing lists that are available for purchase or rental. Data cards traditionally include factual information such as counts, selects, and pricing and a written narrative description. Video marketing enlivens the data card by presenting each mailing list's unique characteristics in a personal and creative format. Initial industry feedback has been positive. "The data card has always served the list community as a one dimensional marketing tool - a basic template of segments, selections and pricing. NextMark's introduction of videos offers a new vehicle for data managers to capture the attention of list brokers and mailers in a personalized fashion for today's digital world. This type of forward thinking is a boon to our industry, and RMI is honored to be a part of such ground breaking innovation," said Martin Stein, CEO of RMI Direct Marketing. "To the brokers' advantage, data card videos provide an additional stream of information on demand. Determining factors such as limited time offers, mail packages and seasons, and market penetration will aid in the research and selection process," noted Becky Terhaar, Marketing Director at RMI. "From a client's perspective, this is an excellent opportunity for our sales force to connect with brokers during the peak of their interest - increasing the likelihood that the list will be included in a recommendation." The data card videos may be viewed by subscribers to the NextMark list research system, as well as in the public domain. Listed below are the list titles for five video data cards that may be viewed on NextMark's free list search tool at http://lists.nextmark.com.
Video data card marketing was introduced with version 6.12 of NextMark's direct marketing operating system (DMOS), which also included enhancements to its index of more than 74,000 mailing lists, better control of search results, and greater intelligence on the search engine results page (SERP). Video data card marketing is a free service, available to list managers and list owners. The additional version 6.12 enhancements to the SERP are available only to registered NextMark list research users.
