October 13, 2005 Hanover, NH USA – NextMark, Inc., a leading provider of list commerce technology, today introduced its Preferred Provider Program. The goal of this program is to help list managers promote their lists to users of the NextMark List Research System, which is used by 187 companies today. NextMark users are active buyers who, in the last 12 months alone, have made more than 130,000 list recommendations and placed an estimated $175 million in list orders. The key benefits of the program include improved placement in search results, special branding on results listings and data cards, and the right to cite the Preferred Provider designation in sales materials.
Here is how preferred providers get an advantage: A search on “apparel” — a very competitive search term — finds 5,186 lists. Of these, 144 lists have a relevance score of 100% (extremely relevant). Because of their Preferred Provider status, American List Counsel, Direct Media, D-J Associates, JF Glaser, MOKRYNSKIdirect, and SpeciaLists garner the top 29 positions in the 100% bracket. Each of their listings is adorned with a gold shield and their data cards are stamped with the preferred provider seal.
Joseph Pych, President of NextMark, said, “We just started talking about this program and I am very pleased with the early response. In the last three days, more than 25 companies applied and we’ve only had to reject two of them.”
Certified Preferred Providers include Affinity List Management, American List Counsel, Byrum & Fleming, Carney Direct Marketing, Charles Moore Associates, ClientLogic SpeciaLists Marketing Services, Collins List Exchange, Direct Media, D-J Associates, Fasano & Associates, IDG Communications List Services, Infocore, J.F. Glaser, Jakilamat Industries, Lifestyle Change Communications, ListSolutions, Macromark, Mail Marketing Incorporated, McCarthy Media Group, MKTG Services, MOKRYNSKIdirect, NameBank International, Negev Direct Marketing, Net 60, Offers In The Mail, Practical Marketing, Take 5 Solutions, V12 Group, and W.S. Ponton.
The Preferred Provider Program is open to all List Managers. To participate, you must have data cards listed in the NextMark system and be in good standing. The membership fees range from $25/month for fewer than 50 data cards to $250/month for more than 250 data cards. Discounts are available for quarterly and annual arrangements. Details and applications can be found on the NextMark website at http://nextmark.com/ppp.
